Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actor and model. She became known in Australia through her character Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap opera Neighbors over a period of one hundred episodes that were broadcast from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood the actress began her career with two projects. The first was Hollywood & Wine where she played a struggling actress. After landing the role of Maya in Scrubs in which she played an extremely seductive medical student. The show, however, is suddenly ended. The actress then continues with the shooting of a comedic series by the Farrelly brothers Good for shooting accompanied by Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson then appearances in short series and B series movies. It was in 2013 that she started to get noticed further. After playing in six episodes on the drama about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first part on the regular cast of the webseries Chosen starring Milo Ventimiglia, the actress landed a series of projects. The first two seasons, she played Michael Murray's reply in both seasons. In the following season, she was featured as a supporting character in two feature films set inside airplanes The first was a television film for the SyFy Channel Flight 7500 The One Way Back with a cast of actors from television series as well as an action movie Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage. The role she plays is that of an air hostess. However, she also shares the poster for a new TV show called Matador with Gabriel Luna. This thriller show where actors portray CIA agents and produced by the director Robert Rodriguez however does not extend beyond a season that is 13 episodes. The pilot for the show that has not been successful, is still in development. She also shared the promotional poster for a B-Series romance Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause and then was seen on the show comedy Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Additionally, she was included in the massive distribution of the experimental Knight of Cups by Terrence Malick. She is featured in five episodes of Satisfaction.
