Randy Gene Moss

Randy Gene Moss was born on the 13th of February in 1977. He is an American footballer. He played with the Minnesota Vikings (Oak Raiders), New England Patriots (New England Patriots), Tennessee Titans (Tennessee Titans) as well as the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League. He is widely regarded as the best wide receiver of all time, together with Jerry Rice, he holds the NFL single-season touchdown reception record (23 in 2007), the NFL single-season record for touchdown reception for a rookie (17 in 1998) and is ranked second in the NFL all-time regular season touchdown list with 156. Moss was well-known for his skills in securing a contested catch and "mossed" is now a term used in football. His career began as a studio analyst on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown and Tuesday Night Countdown shows. Moss was born in Rand, West Virginia. He attended DuPont High School. It was one of two schools which was later amalgamated into Riverside High School. There the student excelled at football, basketball, baseball, track, and other sports. Randy was also a member of the school's debate team. On the field of football, Moss led the DuPont Panthers to back-to-back state championships in 1992 and 1993. Moss was an outstanding wide receiver. He also played as a free safety and punt return. In 1994, he was honoured by the Kennedy Award as the West Virginia Football Player of the Year. Parade magazine named him to their All-American high school football team in 1995, and in 2009 the magazine named him among the top 50 football players in high school.
