Born on 25 November 1968, Jillian Noel Hennessy is dynamic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her significant contribution for American television. She's best known for her amazing performance on American TV shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh). She also put her acting abilities displayed in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. In these independent films, she flexed both co-directing as well as writing skills. Hennessy began her acting career alongside her sister in the role of twin call-girls in Dead Ringers in 1988. In 1990, she briefly appeared as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved to sci-fi, and portrayed the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. Her big break occurred later that year when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime drama Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. As part of the show, she captivated audiences throughout the three years that ended in 1996.
