Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer that was born in Newark, New Jersey on 9th August 1963. Their parents include gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick sings as well. When she was a little girl, Houston began performing professionally in the choir of her church. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mom. The singer went on to sing backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her mother, and also did a brief stint as models on the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. Beginning in 1981, she started singing with the New York-based funk group Material. The band's high-quality vocal performance in this band that attracted the attention of record labels such as Arista. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It became one of the most successful album by a musician. On the album, she had several smash singles, including Saving all My Love for You How Do You Know You're Good to Love And The More Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US Top Ones consecutively. The singer beat the Beatles. The album was released in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies around the world. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that established her as one of the most successful artists in history. Even though the movie and actor's performance weren't much praised, her soundtrack album that featured her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was the top-selling single and albums for many months. The album sold over 44 million copies worldwide. The same year that she welcomed her daughter Bobbi Brown, she got married to Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. It was about this time when her well-documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was an everyday user.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more popularly known as an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent. She has created shows for CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics'. Bash has been awarded the Women in Washington Power List honor from Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting capabilities are well-respected by numerous journalists. She is also a loving mom to her son despite having graduated from George Washington University.
