 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress comedian, activist, and actress. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child actress just after emigrating to United States. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials between 2013 and 2016 - and then from 2020 on - made her famous. In addition to commercial appearances, she was an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel Girl in the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were both just two years old, emigrated to America to escape antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. When she was five, she began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and earned a GED. She went on to get an undergraduate degree in Arts, Communication from University of California San Diego.
