Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous prizes, including the Screen Actors Guild Award Award and the Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore actor clan and the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore gained fame in her early years as a child actress, thanks to her performance in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a very publicized childhood marked by drug and alcohol abuse, she published her autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was in a variety of films, including Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love.
