Adam Carolla

    Adam Carolla, born May 27, 1964, is an American radio persona, actor, and comedian. He hosts The Adam Carolla Show which is a talk program that is available as a podcast which set the record for the "most downloaded podcast" as determined by Guinness World Records in 2011.Carolla co-hosted the radio call-in program Loveline along with Drew Pinsky from 1995 to 2005 as well as the show's television incarnation on MTV from 1996 until 2000. He was co-host and co-creator of the television show The Man Show (1999-04), as well as the co-creatorand regular performer in the TV series Crank Yankers (2002-2007 and 2019-present). He was host of The Adam Carolla Project, which was a television show about home improvements which was telecast on TLC in 2005. He also hosted The Car Show on Speed TV in 2011. Carolla has appeared on the reality television shows Dancing with the Stars (Network) and The Celebrity Apprentice (Network). His book Fifty Years we'll all be chicks was featured on The New York Times bestseller list in the year 2010. His second book Not Taco Bell Material was also a New York Times bestseller. Carolla has been on numerous talk show panels on politics as commentator. He hosted a weekly show, "Rollin' with Carolla", on Bill O'Reilly's The Factor.Adam Carolla was born on May 27, 1964, to Jim and Kris (nee McCall) Carolla. There is a debate over whether he was born in Los Angeles County, California or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The area he grew up in was the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley and his parents divorced when he was a young. Carolla did not have an middle name. The parents of his didn't grant the name. He put his name as his middle "Lakers" on his driver's license application for fun. The application was approved without notice. His maternal stepgrandfather was Laszlo Gorrog screenwriter.
