Adar Gandelsman, Hebrew: Adr Gndlsmn, was born on the 12th of May, 1997. She is an Israeli model and beauty contest titleholder. She was Miss Israel's 2017 runner-up and received the title Miss Universe Israel. Adar was a competitor at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. However, she did not finish in the top ten. Gandelsman, Miss Universe Iraq 2017 snapped a picture with Sarah Idan during the pageant. Idan along with her entire family left Iraq in December 2017 after they were outraged by Iraqi citizens over her photo of Miss Israel. Miss Israel is born in Ashkelon in Israel and was born to Ashkenazi Jewish parents, who relocated to Israel in 1992 from Brazil.
